Dr. Jane Goodall visits the Roger Williams Park Zoo!

Come join us for a fun day at the zoo!

Dr. Jane will be visiting the Roger Williams Park Zoo in Providence, R.I. on May 1, 2010.  Everyone is invited on this day to explore the zoo, learn more about Jane Goodall's Roots & Shoots and hear Dr. Jane speak, so bring all your friends and family!

Attendance in the plaza for Dr. Jane’s remarks is free with Zoo admission. Space will be limited and provided on a first come-first served basis. Dr. Jane’s books and other merchandise will be available for sale all day.  Zoo admission 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., closing at 4:00 p.m. Visitor information and ticket pricing can be found on the Roger Williams Park Zoo website.

All active Roots & Shoots groups are also invited to apply to attend a Roots & Shoots New England Fair at the Roger Williams Park Zoo. At the Fair, you can share your work with other Roots & Shoots groups and Dr. Jane, and learn about what other groups are doing.

• 10:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. — Roots & Shoots New England Fair for Roots & Shoots Members and Dr. Jane
• 1:30 p.m. — Peace Dove procession
• 1:30 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. — Dr. Jane addresses the public
• 2:00 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. — Public book signing with Dr. Jane and the Roots & Shoots New England Fair is open to the public
