the Boston Neighborhood project Opens tonight
For the past three years, 26 BPC members have documented Boston neighborhoods and we’re excited for the first exhibition! This project began as an expansion of our “Public Garden Project” which has been held during the past four summers. As Boston-area photographers, we thought it most important to document our own urban environment.
We invite you to attend the opening of our first exhibition on Wednesday evening. The exhibition has been curated by Banafsheh Ehtemam, and co-organized by Katherine Kominis and Sanjay Subbanna. Each BPC member who created a photo documentary of a Boston neighborhood will exhibit one photo from their portfolio. From 7 to 8 p.m., the photographers will host a discussion and will show additional photos. Please come to see some great photos, hear about documentary photography, and support BPC members!
